Turan Sahinkaya is a Senior Manager of Pricing in the Global Complex Pricing
Group at AT&T. Sahinkaya has been recognized as a strong leader throughout his
tenure with AT&T, continually proving his technical and management expertise.
With an undisputed business-savvy style, Turan Sahinkaya earned the highly
prestigious company-wide AT&T Global Award of Distinction for a sales tool
innovation that resulted in a cost savings of $1,000,000 to the company.
Prior to his time with AT&T, Turan Sahinkaya worked as a Staff Consultant for
some of the world’s most recognized industry leaders, as well as Fortune 100
companies such as Accenture and Oracle Corporation.
Turan Sahinkaya has a deep passion for life that extends outside of the world of
business to his family, soccer, rugby, coaching, entrepreneurship opportunities,
and volunteer work.
Turan Sahinkaya played professional soccer in Europe at the age of 16 for
Juventus Football Club for 5 years and Fenerbache Sport Club for 4 years. Mr.
Sahinkaya comes from a large family of professional soccer players from top
European clubs and National teams throughout England, Italy, Russia, Turkey, and
Germany. As a youth growing up in Europe, Turan Sahinkaya spent his early
childhood playing soccer for the prestigious Juventus Youth Football Club in
Turin, Italy. Sahinkaya’s parents named him after this great city in Italy.
Turan Sahinkaya is a graduate of University of California at Berkeley with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, where he proudly represented his University
playing 3 years Varsity soccer and 1 year Varsity Rugby. He was part of the
championship rugby team that won the NCAA–defeating Army. This was an especially
proud moment for his grandfather who was a renowned player for the New Zealand
All Blacks for over 10 years and who went on to win several World Cups for New
Zealand.
Turan Sahinkaya went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from
Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
During the summers, Sahinkaya coached several youth select soccer teams in
Northern California such as Ballistic United, Livermore Soccer Club, and
Peninsula United Soccer Club in order to gain coaching experience.
Coaching his son’s Solar Soccer Club team in Dallas, Turan Sahinkaya led them to
an esteemed First Place World Championship at Disney’s Wide World of Sports
Complex in Orlando, Florida in the boy’s competitive soccer division. They were
undefeated in all 8 games in the world’s largest 3v3 soccer event.
Believing that giving back to the community makes the world a better place,
Turan Sahinkaya donates his time and resources to help his fellow man. He has
played important roles in mentoring troubled children through the YMCA, and
working for Habitat for Humanity and Goodwill Industries International.
Additionally, Sahinkaya volunteers each year to help organize and work with the
local Memorial Hoop Night basketball charity event fundraiser, with proceeds
going to benefit the American Cancer Society.
Turan Sahinkaya is the co-founder and developer of Timeless Keepsakes, Inc.™,
where he helped develop, research, and start this successful baby-related
products business. Sahinkaya was responsible for all facets of the corporation
including international public relations, development of product, hiring sales
crew, management of team, marketing, operations, sales, web-site development,
vendor relations, and financial dealings.
Turan Sahinkaya is married to Lori Sahinkaya, a reporter, published writer,
columnist, and recipient of the Texas Woman of Influence Award. They reside
outside of the Dallas area and have four boys.
